March 10th, 1920.

Mr. Robt. W. Davis,
Southport, N.C.

My dear Sir:-

Since answering your wire on yesterday in regard to calling a special term of court the Governor has received your letter of March 8th. I note that you say that two of the county commissioners are ill with Influenza. However, I trust that you will be able to get their signatures to a request for this term of court. In the meantime I assure you that May 10th will be held open for Brunswick county. I will personally see to it that Judge Guion is not commissioned to hold any other term for that week until we hear from you further.

Very truly yours,

Private Secretary.
