Sir,

Agreeable to your orders have sent you an exact Account of the Troop under my Command, for Bladen County. As every one of the Troop are very desirous of being properly Equip'd, and its impossible to furnish themselves here, hope it will Please your Exellency, to send for such Accouterments, as you’ll think most Proper, therefore have only put down the following Articls (Viz., Holsters with Caps of Blue Cloth with fringe, and Housings of the same, Pistols, Carbines, Broad swords or Rather Hangers) if its with your approbation.

As to the Militia Law I think the find are to small.

As to the Indians we are in no danger in this County.
