Sir:-

We are considering for County Agent, Farm Demonstration Work, several young agricultural college graduates, who are also eligible for military duty. Will you kindly inform me if they can be released from military duty in order to take up agricultural work. Could the order for release be given prior to their entering Demonstration Work. We have some positions to fill within the next thirty to sixty days, but the young men would like to know now if they can obtain a release from military duty, so that they would be ready to take up Demonstration Work as soon as a position is open for them.
