His Excellency Arthur Dobbs Esquire Captain General Governour and Commander in Chief in and over the said province

These are to Certify unto all whom it doth or may Concern that John Davis Junr. Esquire who attests the Deposition of Maurice Moore, John McMurray and Daniel Holyfield hereunto Annexed is one of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Newhanover in the said province this also Certifies that William Dry Esquire who attests the Deposition of George Nicholas hereunto Annexed is one of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of New Hanover in the said province and that full faith and Credit is and ought to be given to such their Attestation in Court or Else where.

In Testimony whereof I have Caused the Seal of the said province to be hereunto Affixed at Brunswick this 24th day of September 1763—
