Brunswick December 13th 1760—

Sr,

I Had yr Letter with the Roots and Seeds by Captn Mulford which are all Safe and the Roots planted out, but I have lost my Gardner who died about a month ago, o shall be at a Loss how to find out the Roots &c you wrote for this goes by Mr Magel who goes to new york and from thence proceeds to Philadelphia.

I Have below Sent you a List of Such Seeds as I shall want for my Kitchen Garden which I desire you will  send by the first vessel and I shall send you Rue in return as I have lost the Season in procuring Myrtle Wax, in the Spring I shall endeavour to procure any Curious flowers and plants as they open and know what they are, you may compute how much of each Kind to send—

I am so busy sending off dispatches and the vessel this goes in ready to sail that I have only time to add that I am Sr
