Sir,
Having this opportunity of an Express going to you from Virginia with dispatches from Sr. Thomas Robinson to you and the Governor of Georgia I could not think of letting him pass without writing to you and letting you know that I have wrote to the Board of Trade about the Boundary Line betwixt our two Governments letting them know what the Gentlemen of this Province think will be an equitable Line and the reasons offered to support it and therefore hope you have or will do the same for your Province, as they are very impatient at Home to have it Settled, and if you have not done it, they may probably send over an Instruction to fix it without longer delay as they know the mischievous consequence of not having it determined and laid out.

I need not mention any thing of Public affairs as your Letters will inform you of all I know by mine; But hope as I see by your papers that you have not raised any Troopes for to Assist Virginia, that you will send in your Quota in Money or Provisions in Same buying up all the Pork and Beef I can Procure for them, and I believe it will be of equal benefit if you can send them an equal quantity of rice as all will be wanted before the Campaign is over, as we expect near 4000 Men will be employed. The Express is Just going so have only time to wish you Success in all your designs against the French and am |
