Dear Sir,

I have taken the matter of convits up with the Supt Mr J. S. Mann, for road work in our township, and he refers me to you and the council of the state, that at present all convicts were engaged. I would like to know the probability of secureing small squad say 15 to 25 in the early spring or later if we could'nt get them earlier.
