Sept. 20. 1913.

To Govenor of North Carolina
Hon Locke Craig

Your Honor:

We are pleased to notify your Honor that the situation is much abated at this time and there's no need of immediate investigation. If you have not yet made arrangements for detective services or this investigation you may await our further instructions which we will furnish you by wire.

Some of the statements made were not well founded and at the present there's nothing to indicate an insurrection. We intend to be on the lookout for any new developments and feel sure we may rely on you for assistance in case the situation demands your attention.

Respectfully Yours

J. A. Rudisill
