To His Excellency The Governor;

We respectfully ask that Dr. John P. Stedman, now at Dr. I. M. Taylor's Sanatarium, Morganton, N.C., and who is insane be transferred from this District to the Western District so that he may be removed to the Western Hospital at Morganton. We, his friends make this request for the reason that we believe that his condition will be bettered by having him admitted to the Western Hospital.
