TROUBLE IN THE SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND.
Tuesday January 27, 1920.

Today between one-thirty and two O'clock while the pupils of the State School for the Blind, Raleigh, N.C., were at dinner, Annie Gentry, a fifteen year old girl, was pinched, beaten in the face, and roughly taken from the dining-room: with blood streaming from her nose, by the Lady Principal, Mrs. Olive of Apex, N.C. Annie was immediately taken to the office and reported to Mr. G. E. Lineberry as having fought the Lady Principal. The trouble was caused by Annie speaking at the table. Mr. Lineberry decided that further punishment should be inflicted on the girl.

The result of this cruel treatment was a bruised and swollen lip, a severe headache.

P.S. This should have immediate attention.
