Sowells Point S.W. at 5 saluted Gov’r Dobbs at his going Ashore with 11 guns, a Breeze springing up gott under Sail & at 7 Anc[ho]red in Hampton Road B[e]st B[owe]r in 13 Fa[thoms]. at 9 Moor’d a Cable each way Sm[a]ll B[owe]r. to S.W. in 16 Fa[thoms]. Pt. Comfort N.E. ½ E., Sowells Pt. S.E by E ½ E. Willoughbys Pt. S. by E., at 12 at Noon bent the Sheet Cable and gott the Anchor over the Side.
