Gov. T. W. Bickett,
Raleigh, N. C.

Dear Governor:

Permit me to congratulate you on your address issued Saturday evening. The “Fans and the Fannies” is very good, and I believe this will do the work.

It seems to me the young people in college can be of great service this summer if aroused to the importance of work. If they were to get into the fields after leaving college they would combine several things that all are anxious for at this time. It would be a combination of fresh air, good exercise and usefulness.

I believe it is of enough importance to justify the Governor of the State and the heads of all institutions in calling attention to it.

With kindest regards and best wishes, I am

Yours very truly,

Victor S. Bryant
