Sir

Govr. of Jamaica It is with great Concern, that I am to acquaint You, with the Death of Her Royal Highness the Princess Caroline, which happened on Wednesday the 28th: past about Eleven o'Clock in the Morning; I have however the Satisfaction to inform You, that the King enjoys perfect good Health tho' His Majesty has been much affected with this Melancholy Event.
