Post Script to the Governors of Massachusets Bay, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pensylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina.

Though Colonel Blakeney will be dispatch'd, as soon as possible, with His Majty's more particular Instructions, & Directions to you, yet, that no Time may be lost, It is His Mty's Pleasure, That, immediately upon the Receipt of this Letter, you should ^x^ summon a Council, & communicate to them His Mty's Orders, for the better Enabling you to put them in Execution; and that you should also forthwith issue a Proclamation, in the proper Form, Inviting His Majty's Subjects, within your Government, chearfully to inlist in this Service, and assuring them of a proper Encouragement for that Purpose.
