My Dear Sir:-

Your letter of Aug. 26th¹ notifying me of my appointment as Chairman of a relief Com. for my county was received yesterday.

I accept the work assigned me & will see the Chairman of the board of County Commissioners today & ask him to appoint the other members of the committee to cooperate with me & when appointed, we will go over the county & ascertain the needs & will report same to central com.

Would like to know the name of the chairman of the central com.
