Dear Sir:
A letter to the Governor from Mr. E. F. Watson, of August 15th, states that you had not received the amount due on vouchers forwarded by Mr. J. Bis Ray for the purchase of the Mitchells Peak Park land. Immediately upon receipt of these vouchers from Mr. Ray some time ago the Governor approved them and sent them to the State Auditor in order that there might be no delay in the payment of this account. Upon receipt of Mr. Watson's letter today I made inquiry at the office of the Auditor and was handed a state's warrant for the $3,564.25 due you, which I enclose herewith.
I regret exceedingly that there has been any delay in this matter and that it should have caused you any inconvenience. Kindly acknowedge receipt of warrant.
