Yours of the 15th received. I am directed by the Governor to say that he has not yet been able to secure the man that you spoke about. I have just inquired into the matter this morning and it may be a few days yet before he can be gotten as he is now a witness in court. Thw Governor will undertake to get him on the job at the very earliest possible moment.
