I, William J. Clarke, Comptroller of public accounts in and for the State aforesaid, do hereby certify that it appears of record in my office, among the paments made by said State to sundry persons for Military services in the Revolutionary War, as follows, to wit:

I am of opinion that the last payment was for a tour of tree months service.

Frederic Debow also appears on Book "I" which is a list of officers as "D.C & W.M" (Deputy Commissary and Wagon Master)
