This agreement by and between J. D. Foard Contractor and builder of the City of Charlotte, N.C. party of the first part and the employees of said J. D. Foard members of Local 2146 United Brotherhood of carpenters and Joiners of America, parties of the second part,

1 That the working hours shall be fifty five (55) hours per week work closing Saturday at noon,

2 that the wage scale shall be forty (40) fifty (50) and sixty (60) cents per hour as agreed on by the contractors and the Executive committee of Local 2146.

3 That the management of said firm or Company agrees to meet a committee of its own employees at any time to adjust any grievance that may arise.

4 that the employees of said firm or Company shall have full right to collective bargaining and that there shall be no discrimanation of Union and non-Union men.

5 That no member of local shall work for an individual other than a reputated Contractor and Builder for less than twenty cents per hour more than the Contractors are paying him.

6 That this agreement shall be inforce from date of issue to May 1st. 1920. and should it become necessary to change this agreement by either party t they must give the other party sixty days notice before the expiration of this agreement.
