Biographical Description
Wellington Barnard Stone was born on January 25, 1860, in Illinois. Stone was an accountant and merchant in electrical supplies in Tryon, North Carolina. During World War I, he served as chairman of the local exemption board for Polk County. He died in Charlotte on October 7, 1934.
