Biographical Description
Joseph Hardie Young was born on January 17, 1864, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Young was the president of a variety of railroads over the course of his career, including the Norfolk Southern Railroad from 1914 to 1918. He died in Chicago, Illinois, on November 18, 1958.
