Biographical Description
Henry Bruton was born on December 25, 1872, in Stanly County, North Carolina. During the Spanish-American War, he served with the 3rd North Carolina Infantry as a corporal. A longtime resident of Stanly County, he worked as a hotel porter in Albemarle. He died on July 6, 1924.
