John Eaton Shepardson was born May 21, 1875, in Floyd County, Iowa. About the time of World War I, Shepardson was a resident of Beaufort County, North Carolina, where he was a farm manager and, later, a civil engineer. He died on February 12, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio.
