Henry Culpeper (d. 1781) was a resident of Martin County. In 1777 he made a deposition stating that John Lewellen had the intention to overthrow the state and local government, and was willing to use violence if necessary. He later appeared on a list of witnesses at the Edenton District Court of Oyer & Terminer with evidence against John Lewellen.
