Biographical Description
Samuel Lee Cathey was born in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, on October 26, 1888. Cathey was a Presbyterian minister, serving various communities in North Carolina during the course of his several decades long career. He died in Statesville (Iredell County) on March 14, 1949.
