Biographical Description
Ransom Lee Carr was born in Duplin County, North Carolina, on September 3, 1878. Carr was a physician who served as a member of the legislature representing Duplin County (sessions 1911, 1913, 1923, 1924, & 1935) and as county food administrator during World War I. Carr died in Rose Hill (Duplin County) on October 17, 1940.
