Biographical Description

Edward Boscawen (August 19, 1711 - January 10, 1761) was a British naval officer who rose to the rank of vice admiral in the 1750s. In 1755, Boscawen and his fleet were charged with intercepting French vessels attempting to resupply their forces in America.
