Edward Everett Eller was born in Wapello County, Iowa, on February 12, 1870. Eller settled in North Wilkesboro (Wilkes County) in his early twenties where he founded E. E. Eller Produce Company, a poultry and produce wholesaler. He died in Radford, Virginia, on October 18, 1955.
