Thomas West (d. 1757) was a prominent landowner who resided in Bertie County. The father-in-law of William Brimage, Brimage later lost some of West's lands when he became a loyalist and left the state in 1777. West's daughter Elizabeth and her children continued to live on their family estate, called Westbrooke, after Brimage left the state.
