Biographical Description
Jane Vance Jones (née London) was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on December 6, 1831. Her family was involved in a variety of the city's social circles and she was acquaintances with Margaret Eliza Cotten. She married John Pembroke Jones in 1857 and the couple had one son before she died in Wilmington on March 27, 1859.
