Biographical Description

John Glover was a planter in Bertie Precinct, North Carolina. In 1736 Andrew Broughton brought a suit against Glover for keeping Cyrus, an enslaved American Indian whom Broughton argued he ought to have custody of. Glover died sometime after 1739.
