William Gibbs McAdoo was born October 31, 1863, in Marietta, Georgia. McAdoo served as Secretary of the Treasury under President Woodrow Wilson from 1913 to 1918. He was also Woodrow Wilson's son-in-law. He died in Washington, D.C., on February 1, 1941.
