Biographical Description

Alexander Rufus McEachern was born on October 9, 1860, in St. Pauls, North Carolina. McEachern was the secretary and treasurer of a cotton mill who served as chairman of the Robeson County Exemption Board, No. 2, during World War I. He died in Fayetteville (Cumberland County) on February 17, 1936.
