Biographical Description

Thomas Harrison was a resident of Tyrrell County. In 1777 Daniel Leggett came to visit him and convinced Harrison to swear two oaths and become a member of the Gourd Patch Conspiracy. Leggett later used Harrison's plantation as a meeting point for recruiting more men to the plot, including Thomas Harrison's father Thomas Sr.
