Biographical Description

Abel Bradley was a resident of Currituck County. In February 1777 Josiah Phillips and his company of loyalists congregated near Bradley's home before crossing the river and going to Francis Williamson's home. It is unclear whether Bradley supported the loyalist cause or if his home was simply a known landmark, but given that there are no further depositions or testimony mentioning Bradley, it is unlikely he was involved with Phillips' loyalists.
