Biographical Description

Henry McCulloh (circa 1700 to June 17, 1779) was appointed to serve as "commissioner for supervising, inspecting, and comptrolling our revenues and grants of land in South and North Carolina" in 1739. He was the second largest landholder in North Carolina, behind John Carteret, 2nd Earl of Granville.
