Robert Marvin Brame was born in Franklin County, North Carolina, on May 14, 1876. Brame was a prominent pharmacist in North Wilkesboro (Wilkes County), North Carolina, who owned and operated the Brame Drug Company from 1904 until his death on April 16, 1946.
