Biographical Description

Alice C. Connally (née Thomas) was born in Richmond, Virginia, circa February 1842. Connally was a prominent socialite in Richmond and in Asheville (Buncombe County) where she owned and resided on an estate called Fernihurst. She died in Richmond on October 21, 1917.
