Biographical Description

Isaac Jackson was born in Anson County, North Carolina on March 10, 1762. He served as a private in the Anson County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia from 1780 to 1781 and was severely wounded in the mouth during the Battle of Beatti's Bridge. He recovered and died in Madison County, Alabama in about April 1831.
