Biographical Description
Edmund Deberry was born in Montgomery County, North Carolina on August 14, 1787. After representing Montgomery County in the North Carolina State Senate for two decades, he then served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1829-1831, from 1833-1845, and from 1849-1851. He died in Montgomery County on December 12, 1859.
