Shaver, John Lindsay

Biographical Description

John Lindsay Shaver was born on August 15, 1887, in Salisbury, North Carolina. Shaver was a machinist for the Southern Railway at Spencer Shops in North Carolina. He was additionally involved with union work, serving as the secretary of the Federated Shop Crafts union around 1919. Shaver died in Salisbury on February 11, 1965.
