Biographical Description

Moses Barrington, an African American man, was born in Pasquotank County, North Carolina in about 1837. He served in Company I of the 36th Regiment United States Colored Infantry from 1863 to 1866. He was a resident of Norfolk County, Virginia by 1870. He worked as a laborer and a wood sawyer. He died after 1890.
