Biographical Description

Edward Gatlin was a colonist residing in Pamlico near present-day Bath, North Carolina in 1703. There he and several other men signed a petition to the governor requesting that the colonial government intercede and prevent the nearby Tuscarora and Machapunga nations from fighting one another. He later resided in Craven Precinct, where he died in about April 1726.
