Dear Dr. Rankin:

I am writing to say that I have sufficient confidence in the plan which you recently proposed to certain officials in our State for dealing with the physical and psychical defects of bad sex hygiene, to call a conference of leading and representative ministers of various denominations of our State, and other possibly interested parties, for the purpose of considering adopting, if necessary, some well coordinated and sustained plan of action for dealing with this important problem of sex hygiene.

Realizing that if such a plan is put into operation a carefully prepared and rather extensive set of educational pamphlets will be necessary, I am writing to ask, before calling the conference of ministers, if such educational material can be furnished through the Council of National Defense.
