Be it remembered that at a Superior Court begun and held for the County of Warren, at the Court house in Warrenton, on the second Monday after the second Monday of February, A.D. 1874, before the Honorable Samuel W. Watts, Judge, the following proceedings were then and there had and held, to wit,
State vs. Robert Powell, col.
Indictment for Forgery.
The Following jurors, to wit, Joseph H. Bobbitt, Thomas J. Hicks, P. H. Hudgins, Benjamin Powell, col., Eaton Davis, col., Wm. Plummer, col., Crawford Carroll, col., Horace Hunt, col., M. G. Newman, J. M. Holloway, Wm. Boyd, col., and Jos. H. Shearin being chosen, tried, and sworn to speak the truth of and concerning the matter in the bill of Indictment charged, upon their oaths say that they find the defendant guilty. Judgment of the Court that the defendant be confined in the State Prison two years.
State vs. Lewis Watson, col.
Indictment for Larceny.
The defendant comes into Court and pleads guilty. Judgment of the Court that he be confined at hard labor in the State Prison for two years.
State vs. Stephen Bobbitt.
Indictment for Burglary.
The following jurors, to wit, Joseph H. Bobbitt, Thomas J. Hicks, P. H. Hudgins, Benj. Powell, col., Eaton Davis, col., Wm. Plummer, col., Crawford Carroll, col., Horace Hunt, col., M. G. Newman, J. M. Holloway, Wm. Boyd, col., and J. H. Shearin being chosen tried and sworn to speak the truth of and concerning the matter in the bill of Indictment charged upon their oaths say, that they find the defendant guilty of Larceny.
Judgment of the Court that the defendant be confined at hard labor for ten years in the State Prison.
