To John Dalrymple Esqu. Capt. of Fort Johnston in the said Province Greeting
You are hereby authorized & impowered to raise recruits in this province for his Majesty's for his Majesty's Service according the orders you have received from his Excellency General Braddock dated the 17th of March 1755 and I do hereby require & Command all his Majesty's officers ministers & others to be aiding & assisting to you in that Service and for so doing this shal be your Warr[an]t given under my hand the 29th Day of March 1755.
