Miss Eliza Moore,
Memorial Hospital,
Richmond, Va.

My dear Miss Eliza:

Your letter received, and I think that the best way to handle the situation is for you to write to Captain Laughinghouse, asking the local board to grant your Brother a temporary discharge until he finishes the electrical school in June. I believe that such a letter from you would bring the desired results.

I have been much distressed on account of your illness, and sincerely hope that at the end of your present stay in the hospital you will be entirely restored to health.

With kindest regards, I am
Sincerely yours,

[unsigned]
