I am desirous to write you regarding the affairs at Badin. N.C. I have seen your letter to the People of Badin / as well as to D. L. Gobble. now you have known something of the case. now this Man D. L. Gobble has come to Badin. at the time you have Known and organised an electric Workers Union. of which much has been said. and he made fair talks to the men. and these men had good Jobs, and was satisfied until he came and made the disturbance and got their money as Initiation Fees

and now these men have been dismissed, and have lost their Jobs, and are without work and the said D. L. Gobble has not gave the discharged men any employment but instead has got their money and left them without employment losing their Jobs &c

and some of my Family is in this trouble and I am writing you, For Information/

Is a man allowed in North Carolina to go among men at work and raise a disturbance and cause them to lose their Jobs and go off unmolested. I hope you will see after the matter and bring said D. L. Gobble and his Company to Justice.
