Biographical Description

Galbraith Falls was born in Pennsylvania in about 1740. Later a resident of Salisbury, North Carolina, he served as the local sheriff from 1777 to 1779. During the American Revolution, Falls also served as a captain in the Rowan County Regiment of the North Carolina Militia. He was killed at the Battle of Ramseur's Mill on 20 June 1780.
