Biographical Description

John DuBois Jr. was a resident of Wilmington, North Carolina. Active in the Patriot cause during the Revolution, DuBois served as a member of the New Hanover Committee of Safety, as a major in the New Hanover Regiment of the North Carolina Militia, and as a clerk for the local court. He died sometime after 1780.
